Solar Pool Heating Increases The Water Temperature!
The unique cover design offers the benefits of free solar heating to your pool. The durable polyethylene allows 85% of the suns heating rays through the cover into your pool, increasing the temperature by 6-8ºC.
As the cover is supported at the level of the pool's coping stones, a blanket of air is created, providing excellent insulation at night. This gives un-surpassed heat retention whether the pool is heated or not.

With just the Solar Safe cover alone, even without a pool-heater, your pool-usage season is doubled each year, giving comfortable swimming temperatures from late March to November, with no additional energy costs.
- The cover is easily and quickly rolled up with a simple to use winding gear which attaches, when required, to the end of one of the profiles.
- It can be wound by hand or by using a rechargeable 24v battery drill, as an option.
- It takes approximately 2 minutes to completely remove the cover, allowing the pool to be used quickly and without fuss.
- Re-fitting is equally as simple, as the cover is unrolled via a bridle attaching to the leading edge profile.

Solar Safe's unique design, whereby the tough 300-micron UV stabilised polyethylene is attached at 1 metre intervals to strong, anodized aluminium profiles, it provides safety and peace of mind for use with young children and pets.

The sides of the cover are protected from damage by wear strips, and secured to the pool terrace via straps and bungee tie downs, which attach to a unique, non trip, pop up fitting.
The cover is perforated to allow rainwater to drain into the pool and thus prevent 'puddles' on the cover.
When the cover is removed from the pool, the fittings drop down flush with the terrace tiles, ensuring there are no trip points and no stubbed toes!
The cover's life, under normal usage conditions, is approximately 6 years. It can then be renewed, reusing the poles, at only half the cost of a new cover.
